HOPDODDY X WOODSIDE

National burger chain Hopdoddy Burger Bar approached us in August of 2023. They had a bold idea to launch a 100% regenerative-sourced burger menu. They knew it was big story. Hopdoddy just needed help sharing it with their audience. We found an even bigger story underneath it all. A provocative one everyone needed to hear. And the results? In a percentage-point margin category, sales of regenerative meat at Hopdoddy locations grew double digits.

Our bold campaign was featured not only in editorial but championed in category and pop culture podcasts alike. Proof that showing up for your audience in a way that meets them where they’re at, and talking to them like they talk to themselves, is always the best way to roll.

THE TURKEY BOOK X WOODSIDE

In 2022, Ben O’Brien and WOODSIDE joined friend and collaborator Chef Jesse Griffiths on a journey to create a 368-page book on the wild turkey. What a journey it was.

The book follows the story of Jesse and Ben’s odyssey from coast-to-coast hunting and cooking turkeys with over 100 approachable recipes and step-by-step instruction including plucking, skinning, and butchery. Photographers Sam Averett and Jody Horton added more than 250 color photographs from field to table.

WOODSIDE provided writing, editing, partnerships and public relations efforts for the project including a sweeping agreement with the National Wild Turkey Federation and promotion in Field & Stream.

STEYR ARMS X WOODSIDE

Steyr Arms has a storied history that stretches back to 1864. In the company’s 160th year of business, they were in need of a repositioning and a new way forward. They felt the urgent need to start telling their story again.

That’s where WOODSIDE came in.

We helped to reimagine the brand, taking it back to it roots and far beyond. We executed productions in Africa, Austria, Montana and Texas to bring life to products old and new and tell a compelling modern narrative.

We executed public relations work with the likes of RECOIL magazine, Outdoor Life and Field Ethos. We partnered with the Wild Sheep Foundation for the first conservation effort for Steyr in over a decade.

We reimagined their website and email marketing program. Now, we’re ready for what’s next with this brand. Our partnership continues into 2025.

LINDELL X WOODSIDE

So how do you take an icon steeped in lore with a cult following and present it to the rest of the world without losing its cred? Very carefully. Lindell Yachts hired us to tell the story of their next chapter. A bold new chapter in their storied history that takes the brand into more competitive markets, regions and parts unknown in the blank spots on the map. 

We dove into Lindell’s story not just of boat building, but of their world intertwined with fishing, rugged adventure, and a desire to fish hard and rest easy. And we didn’t set out to crash the yacht marketplace parties with our new story and world. Instead, we built rapport with new audiences with like-minded, kindred spirits seeking Lindell’s spirit of adventure not trophy leisure and displays of excess. We measure success not just in more boats sold, more followers, and more newsletter subscribers, but in adventures begun, and communal bonds formed within their owners’ groups.
